Dr. Zathy is the newest addition to the Beattie Brantford team, joining us in June 2023. Her journey to veterinary medicine took her to the beautiful Caribbean islands where she received her veterinary degree from Ross School of Veterinary medicine and has returned back to Canada to start her career. Dr. Zathy’s goal is to not just treat ailments but to also provide comfort and reassurance to her patients and their families.

Recognizing that food is the way through to everyone’s heart and happiness, Dr. Zathy can often be found filling up the staff “snack bowl” with various treats and goodies. While most us run on coffee and unicorn fluff, a little sugary snack through the day is always appreciated.

Outside the hospital, Dr. Zathy and her spouse are both Donut devotees – Donut being their 1 year old Cockapoo fur baby. This adorable four-legged friend is more than just a pet – he's a confidant, a source of joy, and a reminder of the importance of the human animal connection. Their bond reflects Dr. Zathy's dedication to nurturing relationships, both with her patients and her beloved canine friend.
